In 1385, with the commencement of the pain subspecialty program in Iran, he was accepted as the top-ranked candidate at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and traveled to France for an advanced pain fellowship. He trained at two university centers in Paris and Strasbourg and has worked as a university professor since 1388.
