Rheumatology
🟣I was born in ١٣٤٧ in the city of Shiraz, and entered university in ١٣٦٦. After completing my general medicine training, I worked for two years at a rural healthcare center near the city of Zanjan called Saeedabad. After completing my service assignment, I took the residency entrance examination and was accepted into internal medicine. 🟣During this four-year period, I became acquainted with the rheumatology faculty of the University of Tehran at Shariati Hospital and developed an interest in rheumatology. In ١٣٧٩, after obtaining my internal medicine specialty board certification, I came to Golestan Province and began my service assignment in the city of Aliabad. One year later, I was accepted into the rheumatology subspecialty program at the University of Tehran, and 🟣.In ١٣٨٠, I began studying under the professors of the University of Tehran, including Professor Davachi, at Shariati Hospital. In ٨٢, I returned to Gorgan and became a faculty member of Golestan University as the province's first rheumatologist. At that time, rheumatology, which was a relatively young field, was not well known, and patients with rheumatic diseases had to travel to Tehran, Mashhad, or other cities. After several years, in cooperation with my friend and colleague Dr. Mehdi Arabi and other colleagues, we established the Golestan Rheumatology Research Center. In ١٣٩٤, following educational and research efforts, management of the internal medicine department, supervision and advising on more than ٣٠ general medicine, specialty, and dentistry theses, and publication of various articles in domestic and international journals, I was promoted to the rank of associate professor. I currently teach at the University of Medical Sciences and the International University, treat patients in the rheumatology department, and serve as Vice President for Research at Sayyad Shirazi Hospital and Head of the Golestan Rheumatology Research Center.
